what qualifications do you have as an adhd & life coach?

I have completed the Basic ADHD & Life Coach Training Certification course at ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) which is accredited by the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC) along with a lifetime of having ADHD.

do i need to have an adhd diagnosis to take part in ADHD coaching?

No. While it is helpful to have a diagnosis, many people experience the symptoms and effects of ADHD in their lives regardless. Coaching provides individualized support necessary for our unique brains.

If i am in therapy or had it before, will i get any benefit out of coaching?

Yes. Therapy tends help people work through their past trauma and more severe mental health issues. ADHD Coaching is focused on how you can move forward towards a life that you’ve always envisioned for yourself.

how many session do you recommend?

It is up to the client to determine based on their needs. Some people find it helpful to meet regularly while others just need some maintenance style sessions. To get the most benefit out of ADHD coaching, sessions should be biweekly for 2-3 months at minimum.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR SETTING UP COACHING SERVICES?

Once you have decided that coaching is right for you, book a free 40 minute discovery call at a time that works for you. During which we will discuss your needs, what you would like to achieve through coaching, and whether I am the right coach for you or not.

HOW ARE SESSIONS HELD AND WHAT WILL I NEED TO ATTEND THEM?

Sessions are held via Google Meet. Typically they last from 45-55 minutes. Client is expected to be on camera and in a distraction free environment with good WiFi connection. It is important for the client to be in a coachable mind frame coming into the session.

WHAT IF I AM LATE OR CAN’T MAKE A SCHEDULED SESSION?

Sessions can be rescheduled if notified ahead of time. If the client is more than 10 minutes late with no notice, session will be considered completed. Considerations will be made for emergencies or other extenuating circumstances.

WILL INSURANCE BE ABLE TO COVER THE COST OF COACHING?

Typically no but some health savings accounts will reimburse depending on your plan and coverage. Check with your provider and HSA administrator beforehand. I bill the client directly in almost all instances.
